How to fix a corrupted 3ds Max file?
You can go to the default 3dsmax folder -> Autoback and try to load an older version. You can try merging objects 1 at a time until you find the corrupted object, though if the scene itself is corrupted that won't work. Autoback is the best bet. The default is 3 files but I set mine to 99 in the preferences.
